"The Horrors of Hoarding!"

Is it a “collection”… or is it a situation where the couch hasn’t been seen since 2012? 🫣
In this episode, we tiptoe (carefully, there may be piles) into the world of hoarding.

We laugh a little because humor helps us talk about uncomfortable things. But we also slow it down and get real.

Hoarding isn’t just about clutter or messy garages. It’s about attachment, trauma, control, and the very human fear of letting go. From “I might need this someday” logic to the emotional weight hiding inside a box of old receipts, we unpack why hoarding happens and how it affects the people living in it and the people who love them.

As always, we’re not therapists. We’re just two humans talking honestly, sharing stories, observations, and a few well-timed jokes to keep things from getting too heavy. If you’ve ever struggled with clutter, lived with someone who does, or wondered why throwing things away can feel so impossible, this episode might hit closer to home than expected.

Come for the laughs. Stay for the perspective. Leave with a little more compassion… and maybe the motivation to finally deal with that mystery drawer. 🗄️🎙️
